Training during (peri-)menopause

Although the general knowledge of peri- and menopause is improving and it’s being discussed more and more on various social media platforms, I feel that it’s still a bit of a sensitive topic for lots of women and men and it shouldn’t be. The more we know about this phase in women’s life, the more we are equipped with the knowledge and understanding how our bodies work, the better we can cope with our daily lives finding ourselves in a better place and understanding ourselves a little bit more.

I have always loved training women as I feel that I have a better understanding of female bodies and being female myself I can more relate to their stories.

I help women to equipped them with better knowledge and tools and help them understanding estrogen rollercoaster ride and it’s impacts when it starts declining. We all will be affected in different ways, some of us more, and some less. It’s really important to start listing more what our body is telling us as you might not release and suddenly you might find yourself in peri-menopause stage.

While menopause affects each woman differently, there are common signs and symptoms that many experience – hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, sleep disturbance, vaginal dryness, decreased libido, and changes in body composition. These physical and emotional changes can have a significant impact on a woman’s well-being and quality of life.

Incorporating exercise into a daily routine becomes even more crucial during menopause. Regular physical activity can help manage weight, improve bone density, reduce risk of heart disease, alleviate mood swings, and increase overall energy levels.
